Barbara Norgren is considered one of Denver's leading preservationists. She was a consultant for Architectural Resource Evaluation, and worked on the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission. Together with Tom Noel, she helped author the book Denver: The City Beautiful and its Architects, 1893-1941 which is considered one of the best of its kind for the time period covered.
